Sports and Action

My love for sport dates back to when I was a young boy. My passion and interest formed my basis and became the concept that struck my fate. Depending on an individual, the term sport can have a number of meanings including the place they find their solace and it also serves as individuals best second language.

To me, football is more than just a game. Football has greatly changed me, this can be supported by the fact that, there bigger things that can move people but not as football does. I have spent 2 decades in football. My aptitude to produce fantastic football was outwardly evident at a young age since I was already a participating player at the Dubai Football Club at age 13. However, it was not until I left the club and moved to Ahli Club for a full professional career that my career boomed and escalated me to stardom. Aside from my love and passion for football, characteristics such as hard work, commitment, calculated focus and resilience propelled my to securing a spot in the UAE National Team in the year 2003 where I participated in the World Cup and won nominations in the Top 11 world cup under 21 players. Football has shaped my life and instilled in me values such as dedication that have developed me into a complete man. Other than playing for prominent football clubs in the UAE.

“For sportsmen, sports are the epitome of hard work and dedication. To get to the pinnacle of their sport, even the most naturally gifted athletes have to give it their all.”

Playing at the Al Ahli Club for a year before I finally moved to Al-Wahda Club in Abu Dhabi. My love for my country propelled me to joining the Armed Forces where I played professionally for the Military Team where I lead them to bagging 2 major cups. Shortly after the World Cup, I joined one of the elite and first clubs in the UAE, the Sharjah Football Team where I have been playing as a star player. I’ve been playing football all my life. It is my passion and I live for it every day and am a sports fanatic. Football is a Game of Character and has given me long lasting lifetime lessons. It has taught me that it is a game of faith and life. The game has put my character into test. I have learnt to handle all life situations with humility and grace just as I do in a football field. Football has also taught me about team work, which I have applied in my day to day life to achieve my goals and dreams. I also have an interest in other areas such as cars, horse racing and social media.

Important Football Principles

  • A game lost in the previous days must be forgotten and every day must be taken as a gift to start fresh.
  • In regard to injury I believe in rest and being patient. Later standing up as a stronger athlete.
  • Focus on the achievement rather than the downfalls in the field.
  • Keep the fights in the field, do not carry them home.
  • Every time I make a mistake, I must learn from it.
